Sales Manager / Deputy Head of Event Sales (m/f/d)
for full-time replacement due to maternity and parental leave. The position is limited
to two years. An extension of employment may be considered at a later date.
These tasks are waiting for you:
- You will be responsible for maximising hotel and event revenues and optimising the occupancy of
our conference and events area. - You will work continuously on the active sale of our event offer and are responsible for the acquisition of new customers.
- You will be responsible for all organisational processes in the sales office, including preparation and
follow-up of enquiries and events. - In the monthly budget and forecast meeting, you will be the main contact person for the Foundation's management in all questions regarding turnover and expected results.
- You will chair the weekly function meeting with all relevant departments and the external catering
partner. - Together with the management of the monastery business, you will regularly develop new revenue
opportunities. - You will be responsible for the management and motivation of the sales team, which currently consists of five employees and trainees, including the preparation of duty and holiday schedules.
- You will ensure a smooth event process for our guests.
- You will deal professionally with guest feedback and solve challenges confidently and independently.
- You will work with the team on ways to create new experiences for our clients.
- You will actively support your team in answering and processing enquiries.
- You will deputise for the Head of Monastery Operations in his absence.
- You will report directly to the division manager/hotel director.
You should bring these prerequisites with you:
- You have a natural sales talent and understand how to convince our discerning guests about our
product. - At least two years of professional experience in a comparable position is expected.
- You are a communicative, open personality with social skills and team spirit.
- You speak fluent German and English.
- A confident manner, an exemplary appearance and an always exemplary, polite interaction with
guests and colleagues are a matter of course for you. - Reliability, assertiveness, organisational skills and the ability to work in a team are not foreign to
you. - You have successfully completed vocational training or have a degree in the tourism sector.
