This tour offers the optimum way to learn about and experience the art of wine growing and wine making, which have been a tradition at Eberbach since the time of the Cistercians. Following in the footsteps of the Eberbach monks, you will "stroll" through the monastery.
The atmospheric “Hospitalkeller”, the historical "Cabinetkeller", the elegant, High Gothic Chapter Hall, the expressive, cross-vaulted dormitory, the festive, Baroque refectory and the monumental Romanesque monastery church are the stations on your tour.
Zealous hands will serve you six selected wines during your stroll through the Monastery. During your tour from room to room in the Monastery, you will taste wines, which have been specially selected to match the architectural impression conveyed by each room. At the same time, you will learn more and more about the monastic life of earlier centuries. We would not be surprised at all if, at the same time, your feeling of well-being improves and your enjoyment of your visit to Eberbach increases. It would be a pleasure you deserve!
