A unique wine
History in a bottle
A high vault extends behind large iron bars: this is where the wine-cultural memory of our region is stored. One of these treasures from the Eberbach Monastery has now been brought to Frankfurt Airport, so only 8 bottles are left in the monastery. This way we share this exceptional and rare wine bottle with the world!
Characteristic
Polished gold with orange hues. Delicious aroma of the finest herbal tea. Extremely delicate notes of candied fruits,
dried herbs, and nutty undertones present themselves in perfect harmony with the smooth body and delicate
acidity. Radiates a wonderful warmth.

World of fine wines magazin 2006
"The 1920 vintage was described as a very good one that yielded both quality and quantiy (quantity around this time was 21hl/ha). The grapes were harvested in a pristine condition without botrytis. The residual sugar was around 6-7 g/l and the acidity around 11g/l. The color is crystal clear with an amber nuance; the nose is very clean and tantalizing, with hints of honey, mandarin, black currants, and mineral. The palate is dry, with a lovely depth and a very distinct acidity imbedded in the lovely mandarin/honey flavors. The aftertaste has hints of minerals and sweet fruit, and the length is close to eternal, absolutely astonishing and utterly complex. Quite transcendental, and
my most perfect white wine ever! 20 points"
