Current information from Eberbach Monastery

Dear guests,

we welcome you daily for tours from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Thanks to the support of the State of Hesse, we are able to preserve our monastery for future generations. However, due to ongoing renovation and construction work—which requires scaffolding—there are currently some restrictions on the tour route.
From Thursday, October 15, 2026, through Sunday, October 18, 2026, the Basilica and the Cabinetkeller will be closed to visitors. In addition, the monastery tour will close at 4 p.m. on Sunday.
We apologize for any inconvenience. Admission fees will be reduced accordingly.

The wine shop & wine bar is open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Schwarze Häuschen at Domäne Steinberg is open Fridays from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays and holidays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
