Circle of Friends

Researching and preserving the history of the Cistercians - that is the mission of the Society Friends of Eberbach Monastery (Freundeskreis Kloster Eberbach)

The Society Friends of Eberbach Monastery is a non-profit organisation, dedicated to preserving and promoting the historical and cultural significance of the monastery as well as its many art treasures. It was founded in 1983 with the goal of researching and preserving the monastery's rich history and Cistercian heritage. The many activities of the Friends include monastery tours, lectures, excursions and publications. An area of particular interest is the cooperation with the Eberbach Monastery Foundation in historical matters and art treasures from the past.
