Enjoy the view during a walk through the vineyards and then fortify yourself on our wine terrace.

When you visit the Bergstrasse domain, you almost feel as if you are in the south of Europe: colourful blossoms, almond trees and a sunny climate – here, spring starts a little earlier and summer ends later than in other wine regions.

The land along the Bergstrasse fell into the possession of Kloster Eberbach during the time of the Cistercians. Today, the domain covers 35 ha and is the only VDP winery on the Hessian Bergstrasse.

Wine from the Centgericht

Visit our vinotheque and enjoy fine wines with a direct view of the vineyards in the famous Heppenheimer Centgericht site. On our terrace we spoil you in the summer months with selected Rieslings, white, grey and late Burgundies as well as snacks.

Viticulture on the Bergstraße

Biodiversity

The vineyards resemble a mosaic of different soil types. This diversity enables the cultivation of a variety of grape varieties and produces special flavour variations.

Thanks to first-class vineyard care and cellar management, the domain achieved the first ice wine on the Bergstrasse. We place a special focus here on the Burgundy grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris, which thrive excellently in the warm Bergstrasse climate.

The Odenwald and the vineyards on its slopes have become my home. Here, surrounded by and in cooperation with this wonderful nature, I am happy.
